Tahini, tahini, tahini you are my favorite.

I am calling this a topper and not a dressing because in my mind dressings are for salads and I love to top my meals  with this sauce whether they are salads or not.

This is one of the simplest to make, in fact when I am on tour overseas and without a good blender, I simple put the ingredients in a cup and stir with a spoon.  Easy as pie.

—-Side note—-

Why is “easy as pie” an expression?  Is pie making really that easy?  Maybe I will start a new saying.  “Easy as Tahini”.  Yes?  No?  Okay on to the recipe.

1/2 cup tahini
1/2 cup water
2 hefty Tablespoons of Miso paste (can omit)
1 clove of garlic (can omit)
a hefty dashing of real salt (maybe 1/2 tsp?)  can use Braggs instead.

and BLEND!

When I am making this by hand I just use tahini, braggs or salt and water.

Today I used my topper for a plate of mixed greens, crunchy sprouts, quinoa, saurkraut, avocado, hemp seeds, and steamed kombucha squash.  Otherwise known as heaven.
