Guayaki Yerba Mate’

I love me some Yerba Mate’. I believe, that I was first introduced to it in 2005, when I was on tour doing sound with a hippy jam band The String Cheese Incident. The entire team, band and crew, were Mate’ fiends all choosing to drink it the traditional way from a gourd with a bombilla straw. Being a health-minded tea drinking individual I jumped right on board and never looked back.

Yerba Mate is native to South America, where they seriously live off of it. It delivers both energy and nutrition and without any sort of crashing like you can get from drinking coffee or other caffeinated beverages. Yerba Mate’ naturally contains 24 vitamins & minerals, 15 amino acids and is abundant in antioxidants.

I seriously feel alive in ways I can not explain from drinking the stuff. It’s a smooth jolt of energy. I feel complete aliveness that brings me focus and just an overall euphoria. I LOVE MATE! This is the best giveaway ever. I shared. I commented. And like and follow…. mate has amazing health benefits. And it tastes really good with some almond milk and agave. I LOOOVE Yerba Mate! and have just tweeted about this giveaway and am extremely excited. I got Guayaki Yerba Mate tea for christmas last year and absolutely love it. I believe that tea is definately one of the greater things i life, smoothing out all your days problems and enriching your experience. I bought Yerba Mate a few months ago because I keep hearing good things about it…I purchased the tea bag form but haven’t been very successful in getting used to the flavor. Any tips on what I can add to the regular flavor to make it taste better?

Hey Marissa. I happen to love the regular flavor. Perhaps try another flavor next time! But in the mean time try making a mate’ latte. Adding nutmilk and sweetener of your choice (raw honey or agave).

I love me some Yerba Mate too! It gives me the energy to get through a hard day and it tastes great! I love it cold or hot. Any flavor, it doesn’t matter, they’re all delicious! I’m in love with the Chai Spice flavor. Add a little honey and yum yum yum!

Would love the opportunity to try Guayaki!!! I am in the process of transitioning from just eating to filling my body with the nutrients needed to have the light within expressed in my physical form. Soooo excited and although there are times of rough waves there is also times of surfing on the water!! Enjoy life all!

I did all of the things to enter 😀 On the Guayaki website, it said the closest retailer to me is in Houston, TX and I live in Central Arkansas so I’d love to win this giveaway so I can try these and hopefully start ordering it on the regular! I am addicted to Red Bull in a bad way and I need to get off of it. So unhealthy! And since I always crash later, it causes me to get another. I generally have 3 Red Bulls a day. I need something healthy to give me energy before I really do some serious damage to my body and I think Yerba Mate’ would be a perfect alternative!

I love Guayaki! My favorite is still the original but maybe I’ll start branching out 🙂 After a heart problem, Maté is the only stimulant that doesn’t mess me up and I love it.

I just posted the link to this page on twitter…Guayaki Yerba Mate powered me through a summer job I had as a temp. bleeding 200 horseshoe crabs a day for the whole summer in a big open door warehouse. Everyone made jokes about my teabags in water bottles with stevia, but I was running circles around the lazy guys. That and a my book of ‘Striking Thoughts’ by Bruce Lee in between racks of crabs kept me centered and able to cope with the stress and ill-moods of coworkers. I even converted a few of them. That’s why I want to win Guayaki Mate

I LOVE Guayaki! I have been a fan for the last 6 years at least. I drink it all the time and have tried nearly all of their products through the years. My favorite right now are the canned Mate drinks, mild but packed with energy! Great company, I recommend it to all my friends!

i love guakyaki yerba mate. when i drink g. mate, i know i’m drinking mate that is as natural as it gets (short of harvesting it myself!). it has a rich, complex, earthy flavor and gives me just enough of a kick to get me going in the morning (or afternoon, or night!) without the crash and jitteriness that accompanies coffee. yum!

I want to win this because I’m obsessed with yerba mate! I spent 9 months in Latin America but in Ecuador where not many people drink mate. The next year, back in the states, my roommate was a girl who had spent a year abroad in Argentina, where everyone drinks mate! She drank it almost every morning and got me hooked. When I first tried it, I thought it tasted awful – so don’t let that discourage you, whoever wins, if they are trying it for the first time. 🙂 It is definitely an acquired taste but so worth it. I consider it medicine, and can feel the effects of it’s natural antidepressant properties. Guayaki is definitely my favorite brand because of the way they give back to the environment. It can get expensive though so I would love to win this. 🙂
