Here are just a few of the moments that I stopped myself today to simply enjoy what was making me smile!
On the subway to Union Square I looked up to an older man looking at me very quizically. I have no idea why he was, but my immediate reaction was to smile. I love people. He may not have even been seeing me, but the look on his face was too good!
I finally wrote down all of the ingredients for recipes that I have been wanting to make and made time to visit a great bulk food co-op and when I got there realized I had forgotten the list! I remembered most of it though!
My Tom’s shoes may officially be ready for retirement or a new creation, both feet have big holes in them!
This lovely bicycle with what I make up to be Christmas decorations on the basket.
My favorite, favorite, favorite juice!
Another bicycle that I was admiring simply for its bad-ass-ness and then spotted the red “YES” on the back tire!
The leaves falling! I was busy complaining to myself about how my bags were sooooo heavy and looked up to see the gorgeous change in colors and the leaves being gently let go to enjoy a new freedom.
Wow! Thanks for this, Tricia! Made me smile.
Yeah, very nice to find a simple joy in life at any time <3 Yesterday was a great day to see those fall leaves dancing on the ground. I had my hair short, so it was also dancing in the wind and tickling my neck. Love it!
and I've just read Superforester Heather's blog about you now. It's awesome! and now I have a request…would you please teach us how you make a homemade nut cheese ?? You make it with brazilian nut and other ingredients? I looked in the website of Dr Cow…but I still cannot find a store which sells a variety of nut cheese!
Have a colorful autumn day!
Love,
Hana
Thank you, Tricia, for this beautiful breath of acknowledgement! “Letting go to a new freedom.” You are a lovely inspiration. 🙂
