Rebekah “Bex” Borucki is a mother of five, TV host, meditation and yoga guide, birth doula, and author of You Have 4 Minutes to Change Your Life: Simple 4-Minute Meditations for Inspiration, Transformation, and True Bliss(Hay House 2017) and her brand new book, Managing the Motherload: A Guide to Creating More Ease, Space, and Grace in Motherhood(Hay House 2019). 

 

Her mission is to make mental health support and stress management tools accessible to all, especially BIPOC (Black and Indigenous People of Color), LGBTQ+ folks, and other marginalized communities. Rebekah lives with her family and a barn-full of rescued farm animals on their 8-acre homestead in rural New Jersey.

  • speaking the truth to yourself, seeing the shitty and also the good. 
  • how much so many of us are programmed to be fat-phobic, prejudice, trans-phobic and such from society and how we are raised
  • the shared purpose 
  • being a black, white passing person
  • how to initiate conversations and hold space for black people/people of color as a white person
  • how there isn’t your truth or their truth, just THE truth and to not discredit someone else’s experience
  • not invalidating your own experiences or any else’s
  • the genius of her first book You Have Four Minutes to Change Your Life
  • her book coming out this week Managing the Motherhood and how it is about more than motherhood
  • how as mothers and humans how often we look outside of ourselves for the answers
  • how we can really only feel judged, if we are judging ourselves
  • taking a look at anti-racial actions not just non-racial beliefs and actions
