Spirit Daughter, the popular astrology and wellness brand, was founded by Jill Wintersteen in 2017 to help you live your best life. Jill was introduced to astrology as a teenager and continued her exploration while studying yoga, meditation and Chinese medicine.  These practices served as the foundation of her life for over twenty years even as Jill became a neuroscience researcher with Masters Degree in Psychology. 

Realizing her true purpose for understanding consciousness was through spreading the messages of astrology and the cosmos, she began writing and distributing monthly workbooks with the Moon her guide. Spirit Daughter’s Moon Workbooks reach thousands of people worldwide each month and help them set intentions to manifest their dreams while working with the energy of the Universe. • being someone people always told their secrets to and how that led to her wanting to learn everything she could about the human mind and astrology
• having a more type A corporate finance mom that encouraged her to explore life and nudge her to not be like her in many ways
• studying psychology and working for major research firms for years until she felt the call to leave not knowing what she would do next
• moving to California to a pot farm and totally giving herself a reset and space to feel her way through what would be next
• getting certified as a yoga teacher since she was already doing yoga daily
• moving to LA to study with the best teachers and learn about Chinese medicine
• growing her teaching practice with lots of one on one clients and getting the advice to create a scalable business but not knowing what that meant or how to do it
• the struggle of being a service based yoga instructor living in LA and working constantly yet still not sure you could pay the rent each month
• how she trusted her journey the whole time even when she was couch surfing
• having the confidence to always be able to make money and seeing money as energy that can be called in
• the scarcity mindset that is projected us on society 
• digging into our subconscious beliefs and the stories we are running that don’t even apply anymore
• transformation isn’t easy, is never-ending, and you need a toolkit and an inner confidence 
• starting to offer New Moon circles after her roommate asking her if their was a practice for it and them taking off
• starting Spirit Daughter first as an online store that sold dream catchers she fell in love with and imported from Bali
• seeing that she could make New Moon and Full Moon workbooks so that people everywhere could do these practices and that would be the path for Spirit Daughter and the scalability advice she had received 
• the growth of the brand and how her work revolves around the moon which never stops
• the needing to let go of control as the business grew and her family grows
• how you don’t have to feel bad or like you missed your opportunity if you don’t do a full or new moon practice
• that we always have free will and astrology are guides and programing to support you to look within
• how astrology allows me to take pressure off myself and remind myself that it’s all weather passing through
