Life has a lot to offer us. As your lists of “I want to do”, work and personal life all circle in your head, take a break of 2-5 minutes to just be. Hula hoop, close your eyes and breathe, step outside into nature, whatever it is, just let your brain turn off for a few minutes and savor the joy of life. Then bring that joy back into it all!

thanks for this reminder. i am so busy every day with kids and the hectic life in general that i am living. but i choose to do this. and a time out every day is a great thing. thanks tricia! today i made a cup of mate, and enjoyed it on my front porch. but it was nice to just not do anything for a change and not worry about what i had to do. 🙂 thanks
