Oh and dudes she does have shirts for you over at her store too!
I am teaching my children about recycling and being self sufficient. They also are being taught how important gratitude and kindness are. So by teaching them what I know today the world will be a better place tomorrow 🙂
Lending a sympathetic ear to a co-worker who is having a bad day.
Today, I’m making the world a better place by being the change I want to see. I love celebrating people for everything & anything, from cute shoes to a huge accomplishment; I strive to leave people feeling energized, loved, and happier from being around me.
I decked myself out in green/ St. Patrick’s Day clothes. I also brought extra headbands, pins & green attire for coworkers just to brighten up every one’s snowy and slow Monday. Just about everyone who saw me smiled or laughed at my goofy leprechaun bouncing men attached to my head. 🙂 Who knew a girl who loved green so much cold brighten so many day?!
Thank you so much for doing this giveaway, Tricia! I recently started following you on instagram and came over here to check out your site. I’m glad I found you because I really love your vibe!
I work as a life coach and try to make it my mission to make the world a better place.
My little contributions of making the world a better place today:
*woke up and opened up the curtains to a bright and sunny day and affirmed to myself, “I deserve success”
*snuggled with my cat and fed my cat with lots of love
*wrote a blog post for tomorrow for my weekly #Juicespiration Tuesday column that’s dedicated to educating others about the amazing benefits of juicing
*had a phone consultation with a potential client that bought a month long coaching package from me and is now really ready and excited to start changing his life
*smiled really big at my server that brought me sushi and miso soup for lunch
*started to write out a whole new rebranding plan for myself, so that I can better spread love and kindess to others
Now, I’m sitting here at my computer, buzzing with excitement at the possibility of winning one of these fab shirts! Wishing you a wonderful rest of your day!!! XO
Caitlin
Today is the day that I resign from my teaching position so that I can move to Hanoi, Vietnam to work with Blue Dragon Children’s Foundation (http://www.bluedragon.org/) to help rescue children who have been sold into slavery. For me, today is all about the big, big stuff!
Every other week a group of friends and I get together to cook up about 100 meals for the less fortunate at the train station near our homes. Today we were also blessed to have several bags of hats, coats and gloves to help keep them warm tonight. <3
I’m using my reusable Klean Kanteen. 🙂 No more bottled water please!
I teach 2 yoga classes a week at an abused women’s shelter. One class for Mom’s and one for kids.
I irk with inner city high risk kids and their families .I work with them on parenting strategies, mindful communication, healthy coping strategies and breath work. I also try to spread calm and love through yoga. I’m a huge advocate of composting, reducing, reusing and recycling!
I’m showing my children that random acts of kindness are awesome. They are small acts but I want them to know it’s good to do for others. My kids and I gathered warm coats for the homeless in our area. My son and I also ran into a cashier at a small owner run business that was out of quarters. I gave my son a $10 bill and we took it into a bank, exchanged it for a roll of quarters and then he got to take them back to the poor cashier that couldn’t leave. She was so shocked that anyone would do that. I’m glad my son got to be the one to do that for her. =)
I am making the world better today by teaching my children acceptance, kindness, patience, and love.
Today, I made the decision to be who I want to be. I’ve noticed that I’m always in the shadows, so I’ve decided I won’t be in the shadows anymore. In order to be who I want to be and bring change to the world, I have to change. That’s what I did!
Today I am on day three of returning to my yoga practice – the peace, calm and warmth that comes from 90 minutes of movement sends ripple effects and allows me to meet the challenges and joys of life with a little more grace and presence – a lovely thing.
Today I was my authentic self. I added value to the universe by not withholding who I really am.
I’m a massage therapist 🙂
Which I love, and I always feel so much better after working a client.
I also fold my boy roommates laundry so that it won’t wrinkle, and bake then goodies ~ they’re always shoveling our driveway before I get to it! So sweet…
Hi! I do things like: I recycle, I turn down the heating when I’m not home, I walk or use public transportation when i can instead of driving, I give food to the homeless, I smile at strangers (not in a creepy way), I’m a good friend and daughter. I do what I can and push myself to be the best me, so I can contribute to our world. 🙂
I work in a craft store. My job is not high end and I don’t make a ton of money but I LOVE what I do. I make sure that everyone that I talk to walks away feeling lighter or happier. And I do it because it feels good. Knowing I’m being of service, but also hearing how I’ve helped someone create their vision, or put them in a better mood by noticing them makes me feel like one in a million.
I share daily questions, quotes, affirmations and silver linings to my friends, family and co-workers. I let in that car that’s next to me or kind of ahead of me that is using their blinker, I let pedestrians cross, I say hello and smile a REAL smile to people when I pass them in the hallway (even if I don’t know them) and most of all I remember to forgive myself and love myself as much as I love others!
I am making the world a better place by sending boxes of sunshine to my best friend (6 different care packages of happiness), loving myself more everyday, and shining the light on the bright side of things when those around me can’t see it.
