2 heads of kale
1/4 cup sesame oil
3T olive oil
1/4 cup nama shoyu, tamari, or braggs (or real/himalayan sea salt)
3-10 cloves garlic minced
1/4 cup sesame seeds or hemp seeds
I don’t always measure and do it mostly to taste, so you may need a little more nama shoyu for a saltier taste and use as much garlic as you wish.
Wash kale and break it into bite size pieces. Place dry kale in a large bowl and add oils. Now this is the most important part! Massage the oils into the kale. You will see the kale breaking down. Do this for at least a full minute. Then, add the nama shoyu and massage again. Then toss in garlic and seeds. Mix it all up. It is ready to be served. Although, it sometimes tastes better on its second day!
Enjoy! People even have been known to use this on their non-raw tacos and burgers. I love it with Mary’s crackers and sunflower seed cheez.
