Why not start it now?

Last night as I washed my face and brushed my teeth, preparing for bed at my new Italian home, I thought I am going to start doing situps everyday here.  I will start that tomorrow.

Since being in Italy for a week, I have chosen to eat foods that I do not normally eat at home not because I have to, but because I want to.  I rarely eat dairy in the states but over here the cheeses look so amazing that I was happy to dine on them.  I even indulged happily on gelato and cappuccinos, while still eating greens in but without my green juices and shakes.

I feel quite good, dare I say great,  but besides the different way of eating I have also not been having dedicated exercise or a yoga practice.   I have walked all over Rome, but I walk a lot at home in New York.  At home I am also going to advanced yoga classes and running at the gym.  I feel quite good, but miss the feeling of more strength and flexibility in my body.  So, this is where the thought to start doing sit ups daily came from last night.

I was tired when I had this thought, about to fall onto my pillow and get to bed hours earlier then I have the rest of my trip,  but as soon as I heard myself say that I will start it tomorrow I told myself, “If I am going to start something, why not start it now?”  So, I laid right down on the floor immediately and knocked out a quick 100 crunches.

Ideas, plans, goals are all great but how many do you create and want to do compared with how many do you actually put into motion?  Starting is one thing and then continually carrying it out is another, but starting is the first step.  Starting is way bigger then just thinking it.  You gotta start in order to do.

Whatever it is.  Start it.  Our memories fail us.  Start it now and then you get to remember to stick with it.  It is much easier to do, once you have done.  Keep yourself in practice!

But, remember!!!!  Not to make yourself wrong.  Remember, forget, remember, forget, remember!

What can you start right now?
